Objectives

After viewing this enduring material, the participant will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate the participant's knowledge to better perform and/or interpret peripheral vascular noninvasive ultrasound examinations.
  2. Demonstrate scanning protocols for performing venous and arterial peripheral vascular noninvasive ultrasound examinations.
  3. Identify normal venous and arterial anatomy during peripheral ultrasound imaging.
  4. Recognize normal anatomy during musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging.
  5. Demonstrate confidence to incorporate protocols, techniques & interpretation criteria to improve peripheral vascular diagnostic/treatment accuracy.
Target Audience
Sonographers, physicians, PAs and other medical professionals performing and/or interpreting non-invasive vascular testing for venous and arterial disease. Physician participants may include (but are not limited to) those involved with: internal medicine, radiology, vascular surgery, family practice, emergency medicine & critical care.
