Overview

The Cardiac Ultrasound Protocol Manual provides a step-by- step overview of how to perform a comprehensive adult echocardiography examination. Based on ASE ultrasound guidelines, the protocol manual incorporates routine cardiac ultrasound views, 2D/M-mode measurements, color flow evaluation and Doppler interrogation techniques and diagnostic criteria. A live, narrated online video recording of a complete echocardiography examination is also included for ongoing reference. The protocol manual also serves as an ideal protocol for consistency in training and to utilize for establishing protocols for lab accreditation purposes.
