Ultrasound Scan Model job opportunities are available in St. Petersburg, Florida with Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute. Gulfcoast is currently seeking Vascular Models with varicose veins for a July 15th training seminar in St. Petersburg, FL.
This is a per diem, hourly position where individuals will be assigned for diagnostic ultrasound education events, based on business need. Event hours are typically from early afternoon to early evening and the individuals’ availability will need to be flexible.
Required Qualifications: Individuals must be comfortable with having multiple types of ultrasound examinations performed by instructors and medical student learners. Individuals must be comfortable with wearing a patient hospital gown for the duration of the event.
This opportunity pay ranges between $40-$75 per session. Sessions usually last between 3-4 hours.
Scanning program functions are conducted in an educational environment to acquire new ultrasound images, perform scanning demonstrations and further the education of sonographers. All scans are performed by a qualified, registered sonographer or physician for the purposes of demonstrating the capabilities of ultrasound equipment for diagnostic purposes and/or obtaining data of illustrations (including pictures). The examination will be conducted using an ultrasound system and various ultrasound transducers, all of which have been cleared by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
