Currently Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Courses and Critical Care Ultrasound Course are offered in for for both introductory and advanced applications. Ultrasound Guided nerve Blocks Training and Ultrasound Guided Vascular Access Training are all offered as well. Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute live courses offer comprehensive training and feature a mixture of didactic lectures being presented by leading industry expert faculty, interactive case studies, and hands-on scanning. Because the hands-on experience is such an integral part of a successful training experience, GCUS courses never exceed a 3:1 participant to instructor ratio. The hands-on scanning is conducted on live models, and inanimate phantoms are also available for ultrasound guided procedure training. You will also receive scanning checklists and case logs signed by our instructors for your use (if needed) for hospital credentialing purposes. Additionally included in your course tuition is lifetime access to the digital course syllabus which affords you with the ability to highlight, bookmark, and make any annotations for your use as a great reference tool in the future. Our faculty are always eager to interact personally with our participants to answer any questions and share their wealth of POCUS knowledge. All GCUS courses are approved for AMA PRA Category 1 credit with select courses also offering ACEP and MOC credit(s) (See specific course page for details) and you will receive a certificate upon completion of each course.

Blended courses offered by GCUS also offer a comprehensive training experience, but in a more flexible, self-paced format. Gulfcoast Ultrasound Blended courses include 15 months unlimited access to the applicable Online Course (which would cover the same topics as the corresponding traditional live course) plus a Hands-on scanning workshop at the GCUS facility. The Online Courses include structured modules with video lectures, case presentations and post-module quizzes. Upon completion of the Online Course, you will attend a regularly scheduled hands-on workshop (the length of the workshop depends on the particular course you are enrolled in, but are usually 1-2 days (6-12 total hours). For the most effective learning experience with this format, completion of the Online Course is required before attending the hands-on workshop. This format is also a popular for group education (Custom onsite training by GCUS is also available).

Gulfcoast Ultrasound Online Courses are a perfect fit for a Point-of-Care Medical Professional who either already has a source of hands-on training available to them, or just need a refresher course to stay on top of the most current ultrasound practices.
