Objectives

  • List the ACR recommendations for imaging.
  • Outline the ultrasound grading system for hemorrhage.
  • Recognize the ultrasound characteristics associated with vascular abnormalities, neural tube disorders, cranial defects, migration disorders, destructive processes, and ventriculomegaly.

Audience

Sonographers, physicians and other medical professionals involved with performing and/or interpreting neonatal neurosonology. Physician participants may include (but is not limited to) Radiology, obstetrics, neonatologist, pediatricians, neurologists.
