FAST Exam (Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma) CME Vital activity reviews patient position, transducer (probe) placement, and structures visualized in each of the 6 respective views of a normal FAST EXAM.
Focused 2D Cardiac Views CME Vital reviews the most commonly used scan planes when performing a 2D echocardiogram. Patient positioning, transducer placement, and structures visualized in each respective view are included. Corresponding diagrams and 2D images are also provided.
Focused Venous Ultrasound CME Vital activity provides the participant an overview of anatomy and physiology of the lower extremity venous system for point of care ultrasound. Additionally, indications and exam techniques will be reviewed.
Ultrasound Evaluation of Pneumothorax CME Vital activity demonstrates the role of ultrasound in diagnosing pneumothorax. The benefits and limitations of ultrasound for lung ultrasound, scan techniques, and diagnostic criteria are all discussed.
Ultrasound of the Normal Renal Anatomy CME Vital provides an overview of normal renal anatomy, structural and vasculature frames, as well as the lab values indicating renal disease. Additionally, examination technique are reviewed.
