Private Use of Ultrasound for COVID-19 training course is specifically designed for any medical professional (Physician, Advanced Practice/Mid-level Provider, Sonographer, etc) who is working with critically ill COVID-19 patients and is interested in integrating point-of-care ultrasound in clinical practice. The Point-of-Care Ultrasound for COVID-19 training course provides participants a strong foundation to perform the core ultrasound examinations that have been identified as helpful in the diagnosis and management of COVID-19 and is taught by leading emergency medicine and critical care ultrasound experts. Hosted in our learning management system, this course features ten (10) modules with video lectures, scanning demonstrations, case studies, interactive quizzes and recommended readings with fifteen (15) months unlimited access, as well as a One (1) Day (7 hours) 1:1 faculty to participant hands-on scanning workshop with live models and phantoms at our facility in St. Petersburg, FL. For the best ultrasound education experience, completion of the online course prior to attending the hands-on scanning workshop is recommended.

While we do not have any discounted rates at any beachfront hotels, We do recommend hotels on St. Pete Beach (15 min drive). Recommended properties include: Tradewinds resorts, Sirata Beach Resort, and the Don Cesar (as higher end properties). Treasure Island and Madeira Beach also offer some great properties however, are a bit further drive. (20-30min from Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute)
