The e Sono Ultrasound Simulator is designed to supplement the GCUS Online Course by providing an interactive environment to reinforce scanning techniques, image acquisition, spatial orientation, and sonographic interpretation.
The simulator is not intended to be used as a standalone educational resource. Competency requires a comprehensive understanding of ultrasound physics, instrumentation, examination protocols, anatomy, pathology, image interpretation, clinical indications, limitations, and integration into patient management. These essential didactic concepts are delivered through the GCUS Online Course, while the simulator provides valuable opportunities to apply and reinforce those concepts through guided virtual practice.
