Objectives

  • Recognize the sonographic appearance of globe rupture, lens dislocation, retinal and vitreous detachment, and ocular foreign bodies.
  • Perform the ultrasound measurements for estimating intracranial pressure.

Audience

Physicians, PA’s, NP’s, sonographers, and other medical professionals who will be involved with performing and/or interpreting Ocular Ultrasound examinations. Physicians may include (but is not limited to) emergency medicine, ophthalmology, primary care, family medicine, and radiology.
