Overview

Ultrasound Evaluation of the Aorta and Aortic Endografts Training Video is designed to review Aorta Doppler flow characteristics, occlusive disease, aortic aneurysm, aortic dissection, and endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR). Objectives

  • Increase knowledge and competence to perform and/or interpret ultrasound evaluation of aortic endografts.
  • Outline scan techniques for optimal ultrasound evaluation of the abdominal aorta, aortic aneurysms, and endovascular grafts.
  • Define the term "endoleak" and list the different types.
  • Identify key sonographic findings associated with the normal and abnormal endovascular aortic graft.

Audience

Sonographers, physicians, nurse practitioners, PAs, or other medical professionals performing and/or interpreting aortic endograft sonography. Physician participants may include (but are not limited to): radiology, vascular surgery, general surgery, and cardiology.
